I had done some upholstery work along time ago with the intent of starting a business. My career path took me in another direction. Now I am ready to retire and wanted to pickup where I had left off. I signed up for The Lucky Needle Course to see what new tricks people were using to accomplish a real nice finished product. These video’s also showed me what I was doing right since John was showing many of the same techniques I had already known. Especially, if you are just starting out, John does a real good job at explaining how and why to get the job done. He also points out paying attention to detail. Well done.

Great overall course.

This is the most educational course I’ve ever tried to learn from. He breaks it down and so easy that there is no confusion. He even tells you several times if you get aggravated or having troubles with a part skip it and come back to it so he makes things very simple yet informative.

Money very well spent and invested in these learning courses. Thank you for putting something like this together for the people who want to learn from an experienced resource.

Having purchased a walking foot sewing machine I started on my own to learn. Then I found John’s auto upholstery course on the internet. John is motivated, skilled in his work and attentive to detail. Most helpful are his clear explanations as he demonstrates techniques to complete a full auto upholstery project. Also, crucial are the angles showing his work, sewing step by step and close up. We all know mistakes happen. We are instructed and shown how to make corrections so that our finished work is excellent. John’s auto upholstery course was well thought out and filmed. Even if you want to learn how to sew other upholstery projects this class is right for you.

I never sewed in my life two years in training and completed many projects getting better every day. A LARGE thank you John. I like that I can go back and watch videos before starting the task. The Upholstery Forum has been a handy tool as well. I would recommend to anybody looking for a new skill. The whole course is very well done.

Very in depth. Way to follow

Thank you, John, for doing these videos. My wife and I are about to attempt doing a custom interior for our latest project. We have been watching and learning so much. So far we have door panels made out of abs plastic and they are fitting great thanks to your tips. Still trying to decide on a design so we haven’t attached any foam yet. We had no idea how to do custom interiors, but now we feel confident in a good outcome.

I am in the early stages of the course but what I have learnt so far is great , John explains everything in detail on video and if you get stuck on something you can go back to the video work out where you are going wrong , it is like having a teacher helping you through it . And you do the course what ever time suits you .Thank You John I highly recommend this course it is really informative Eddie

I can’t even thank you enough for all the tips and tricks you point out, very detailed videos, i couldn’t find anyone that would be willing to give me some classes in person (was willing to pay) your classes popped up on facebook a friend tagged me and that is how i was able to enroll. I strongly recommend taking the bundle package! now its time to practice!

The best part is I can keep going back again to pick up more pointers and ideas as I do my projects.
